New Year, New Me… or how about New Property Manager?

As the saying goes… New Year, New Me or how about New Property Manager?

2020 was a super exciting year for us, planning and launching Rent Ready was obviously the highlight.

Bring on 2021 – we are ready for you!

Over the Christmas/New Year break we relaxed, set our goals for the coming year and also spoke to numerous people at BBQ’s and get togethers.  When people ask, “what do you do for a job?” telling them you are a Property Manager is always a great conversation starter. You see most people know someone or have experience themselves with “bad property managers” or “terrible flatting experiences” so we love to chat and let them know that owning a rental property shouldn’t be a drag, they just haven’t met the right Property Manager.. yet!

Here is how we see it.  Our role as a Property Manager is following “the big book” that all NZ Landlords should follow, yes the same Residential Tenancies Act, the same Tribunal, even complete the same qualifications that will hopefully be a requirement one day soon.

This is all very important but in our eyes, what is as equally important and what differentiates us as Property Managers is the people we are.  How we communicate our message to our owners and tenants can make or break a relationship.

Our owners are people, our tenants are people. Why would we treat them any different to our friends and family? We don’t, yes there is a fine line but having been doing this for over 10 years we know what works and certainly what doesn’t.

Why Rent Ready?

We are the team you want, having worked together for several years and quickly discovering how similar we are has turned us into the dream team.

We are an experienced and knowledgeable team of two, owning the company and being on the ground running we cover all aspects of Property Management.  This means that we offer a professional, personable service and are the one point of call for both our owners and tenants. It doesn’t get much better than that!

We get it, sometimes people don’t like change but once the decision has been made we take care of everything from making contact with the tenants, collecting paperwork/keys from other party. You can sit back and relax knowing your property is in safe hands.

Simple.

Change is good. Change can be great. What are you waiting for? Get in touch
